Nether Resett

I fully support the reset. Especially because there are not so many buildings or effort nesting. And run in the maze on far distance, for a new ore or luminous stones, does not look very optimestic.

I also like to point out that maybe with a reset, the nether will actually spawn mobs, just putting that out there.

Anything to help along those lines would be great. Not getting a chance at wither skulls....is bad

I believe that the nether needs to be reset. The fortresses are an eyesore and resources (not including netherrack and netherbrick) are scarce. Anyone living in the nether does need to be notified in advance if this goes through however. All the structures can be rebuilt that are currentlly in the nether. I DO support the movement to reset the nether.

I've got a pretty extensive rail system there, so a warning would be ice so that I could collect my important things.

So far it looks like the server has said this: Yes a nether reset but a heads up so players can gether their things. Sounds great to me. If any more people have any suggestions or anything please leave a comment.

As said before, I do not agree with this, due to people living in the nether/projects, Although, now I think about it.. It would be nice... But as stated already a fair, warning needs to be put, a few weeks-months maybe.

I'm all for a nether reset.

I've built grinders and spawning platforms, but nothing that can't be rebuilt with a little effort. I love exploring nether fortresses as much as I love enslaving the residents, so it won't be all bad. I think that having readily available nether quartz will be essential if one is expected to gather it at all. Also the point made about glowstone too, to a lesser extent.

Of course I'm also on board with some sort of warning. Maybe something along the lines of a line of text upon logging in and word of mouth.

How about those yellow notifications that regularly get added in chat and one of those spots on the home page? People in game would be able to hear about it in chat and ask questions if they have any, and players who use the forums will see the "Nether Reset" box on the home page straight off. These two factors combined with word of mouth information spreading, any nether residents should be informed rather quickly.

(also just as a test, myself and giga wandered in the nether for over 40 minutes before we found a new chunk, which we recognised by the amount of glowstone clusters so close together. (they were huge!) If it takes 2 minecraft days to get that far out, then we have a bit of a problem. reset means at least well have the fresh resources near by.) ((though i do worry about competitions for nether quartz. people need to remember that they can't claim part of the nether and demand it not be touched by others, but everyone scrambling for as much glowstone and quartz as they can carry from the reset will make things harder for others. Basically i wanna ask that people don't go overboard with hoarding the quartz, share the wealth and all that happy hippy stuff~))

I am going to get all of it that I can, and extort the rest of you at ridiculous prices. Not really, I hate wandering the nether, I am not a good enough MC player to stay alive. I am prepared to buy some(many) for silly prices though maybe. We will have to see how rare it is
