Just Writing This To Inform You All I Am Leaving Due To What I See As Ludicrous Restriction That Zed And Lady Have Recently Enforced , Of Course I Understand They Want A Good Server With No Lag But Limiting Cows To 10 In A Pen is Ridiculous And As For The Spawners 10 Is Far To Little And I Feel That It Is Forcing Me To Have To Choose Between Food And Fun And If Im Honest Fun Comes First So I Have Choosen To Give My Stuff Away And Pack Up Shop On The Server ,

That is, of course, your choice.

I'd like to adress the point on limiting the cows, though. The limit is not 10. I have set a hard limit of 50 within a single chunk. Your 10x8 block area was likely contained within one chunk, so could only have 50 cows in it. Once you'd hit that limit, cows could no longer breed.



This is, in my opinion, far too many to contain within such a small space. It's cruel! I would expect to see far less in such a small pen, 10 would indeed be reasonable. I set the hard limit to 50 to allow players breathing room for breeding a larger number in a burst, to then bring the numbers back down to their usual level.

You could, within the hard limits, have 100 cows in a larger pen:



This is actually much better for the server in terms of potential lag, as mobs are not fighting for control of space within the pen. They have enough space to all exist in separate spaces! huzzah!

I'd still request you keep the numbers lower than the limit, to avoid causing problems for other players.

You can also keep multiple pens spread out a bit. This will reduce the load even further.

This is what we in the server business call a rage quit. Honeslty, It's a stupid decision to leave such a great server over something as small as cutting the number of COWS you can have. Sorry if that came across rude, I guess it was kind of meant to.
