Everything should be back up and back to normal. The plugin data looks to be about 12 hours out of sync with the world. You should all check your claims to ensure they are still in existence if you have modified them recently.

I took the opportunity, since I had to terminate the old server, to reconfigure the setup. We now have more CPU power and less memory. This means no slowdowns, but we might end up running out of memory and crashing. Hoping it's enough, though. It's borderline. Am still looking into getting a dedicated server as a considerable upgrade, this is just for the mean-time.

Hope you had a nice vacation :)

Okay, so it ran out of memory.

How was it up until that point? Was there noticeably less lag?

I have two options, go back to less CPU and more memory, or keep it as it is but initiate more regular server restarts (once every 2 hours, say). In either case, this is just a temporary measure until we can upgrade to the dedicated machine (which I hope to start setting up within the week, just waiting to hear back from some people)

Personally, I didn't notice any real difference while I was playing this morning. Up until, of course, the server went down. I don't know enough about the behind the scenes stuff with servers, well enough to offer solid suggestions. I am here for any emotional support needed though!
Good work team! Keep it up!

Realisitically, you'd probably only notice the potential lag when the server is approaching capacity. I think i may go for the regular restart option. You can handle a minute or two pause whilst the server reboots, right? :D

Yeah that would be fine bro, any way we can have the warning like we do with the saves? That way we could go grab a smoke, take a piss, or whatever? haha but seriously, that would be great.

Okay, regular restart is now set up. The server will reboot every 2 hours.
