1.5 is out! As usual, don't update just a friendly reminder. Or make a back up copy of the 1.4.7 .jar and play on Zedwork with it. The pvp server we've made is for 1.5 so you might want that as well.

I did something sneaky.
You're all free to update to 1.5.

I have switched to the 1.5 protocol to allow 1.5 clients to connect.
The server is still on 1.4.7 however, so none of the new features will be available.

i can`t connect with my 1.4.7 client. it says: "outdated client"

so, is the server running only on 1.5 ?
i tried 1.5pre and it worked for a while and crashed. it now crashes all the time when i connect. :/
and why is the server so empty?

I'm not sure why that is happening. Try connecting with the 1.5 official release. If you see any errors, would be good to see them.

And yes, only 1.5 clients can connect.

I have updated and have managed to connect without any problems. There were a few issues with the crafting yesterday but Zed has fixed those i think. Apart from that, texture packs are a bit weird but that is probably because they need to be updated.

to update to 1.5, just allow your standard MC client to update when it asks. As generally done, copy your minecraft.jar file as a backup somewhere, (change the file name)
