Hyl's Dwarven City

Hyl's Dwarven City

Postby Hylindar » Sat Apr 13, 2013 3:19 pm

Hey Zedlings!

I have started construction on a large underground build, what should be an awesome dwarven city when it is all said and done. I will be opening up some areas for folks to build a house nestled into the cave walls, or just decorate the interior.

Candidates Must
-Be of good moral character, proven trust on the server :D
-Matierials- I have many and will supply what I can
-Understand that I have final authority on what stays or changes

I am also taking donations, and buying all gunpowder/tnt. Thanks so much to those of you who have contributed so far, especially you Chester! Just let me know if anyone is interested. :P

Other ideas are welcome as well....
What in an Underground dwarf city is a MUST HAVE?

Don't forget them pillars (preferably some damaged). Plus a good bar is needed. I will try to bring more ideas.

i think an underground dwarven city should have some gold accent here and there
and a few ores hidden around just for a little contrast and such

also hanging light if that was not already on your to-do list

little houses higher up in the wall close to the ceiling with little porches/patios with stairways leading up to them

floating pathways to connect them

a huge fire in the middle of the city if possible

a stream around the edge of the city almost as if there is water coming down from the surface

lots of little library huts

uh,,,, yeah
i'm sure you've thought of most of these already, but just in case ;) i'm always up for an interior design challenge

Well I suppose a brewery would be nice, those dwarfs do enjoy a good ale or two :) Also a blacksmith who makes battle axes and all that good stuff. You could call it "the burning beard blacksmith"!

much of my general view comes from "Ironforge" from World of Warcraft. ON those notes you guys mentioned, I intended already to do 90% of them. But a few new ideas were absolutely formed thanks for the help guys :P

If you happen to resemble a bearded man wielding a hammer and axe than maybe :D
