So I was thinking that in addition to the current vanilla server that the guardians and protectors could be start a new server with the same people from this one and play feed the beast on it. It will be an entirely new server just with the mods. I think it's a pretty cool idea.

I am interested in starting up a new server, though am still deciding on what that new server will be (I am looking at an open-world team-based PvP server, or an 'anarchy' style server). I don't know how many players interested in playing pure vanilla Minecraft would be interested in, or enjoy, a modded Minecraft server. The main problem holding me back is that I don't get enough in donations to reliably cover the expense of running Zedwork, so risking adding to the expense with a whole new server idea is not a pretty option to me right now. Hoping that'll change in the future, though

So, if people are interested in Feed the Beast then let us know here
(I realise a couple of players have their own small, private modded servers they run occasionally. Please don't offer them for others to play, I don't really want to endorse another server I have no control over; things can get messy between players :/)

The other thing I would note about switching to playing Feed the Beast, it can be pretty hard to come back to the grind of vanilla gameplay after having all those machines to play the game for you xD I don't want to split the community up into separate servers, ideally. Running a PvP server alongside our little building community server, I feel, adds an alternative distraction some of our players would enjoy but will probably have a wholly different kind of regular player than we get on Zedwork normally. I don't want to end up missing the regular friendly faces of Zedwork everyday, whilst they're off for weeks at a time on a second server.

I feel as if we should stick with our traditions, mostly vanilla Minecraft, for example, The PVP server is vanilla, Zedwork is vanilla. Plus, FTB brings people in so fast, we become addicted to it, then out of no where no one is on the other servers.

Ergh I had such a hard time coming back from FTB(Early Beta) to vanilla minecraft. Modded minecraft sure is fun, and it adds a lot of variety to specific player desires. However it does distract as the other gentlemen mentioned, and valued Zedwork community members would be lost.
