Dear Guardians

I have an idea on how to improve the server. Sometimes I spawn in a place where I don't know where i am. I have talked to some people about this problem and we all agree that a command that would point us in the direction of the closest region post or give you the co-ordinates off the closest one. The command could be along the lines of /compass or /closestpost.

/compass would give you the direction to the closest post. and /closestpost would just give you the co-ordinates of the closest region post in your area.

Personally i agree with this thought, i often get lost in a region myself sometimes and if i dont want to go back to my /home and i need to get somewhere else it is quite frustrating.

It sounds like a good idea in general, just not for Zedwork itself. We are a vanillaish server and therefore you are meant to play the game in its purest state, struggle and rejoice in what you accomplish without taking the easy way.

Yes, we aspire to be vanilly, so this would be outside of that. The idea is that it is tough.

Yes it is part of the adventure to find the region post but can we at least have a command of what region we are in. Once i spawned somewhere random and had no idea where i was. Unfortunately i died and i lost all my stuff and never got it back.

We already have a command to see what region you are in, just do /whichregion
