Horses

So after traveling the few thousand blocks in the nether back to my base i finally have horses, but now i have them i want to be able to ride with friends in different regions.. So what about, now most people on the server have horses and most worked, mined and travelled far to get them, making it possible to /visitregion on horse back and be able to transport with the horse I know this could be very annoying to implement in now as we have all had long nether journeys on horse back but we could have races region, horse back battles, venturing with friends, exploring further, or just show off our nicest horse and armour.. but I think this would be very cool if even possible. I hope to hear your opinions on the matter

Me, Jayz, and link beat you to the idea, scott, we are making a western (modern-ish) theme town, where we will make a course or something similar to that, with horses, but now we are barely starting it. Although I believe we ourselves will produce the horses for this place. Although traveling with horses would be awesome, I doubt this would bug-free.

I'd suggest now would be a good time to look at connecting up all of our regions by road, at-least the regions on the mainlands.

Teleporting can be buggy, I really would not endorse trusting it with your horses. Plus, I think it's best to keep some aspect of the game closer to vanilla. Things should be challenging, and being able to teleport your horse straight to your destination seems like an unnecessary use of a horse (generally).
