Hey, this is Sellfone. I have a complaint regarding my sister being banned even though she hasn't ever been on the server. She tried logging on and it says shes been kicked for stealing. I believe this is an error so if someone could please pardon Blondie_17 that would be great thanks.

Actually it's doing it again for her, it says"Kicked whilst connecting to mcz:stealing".

Hi, sorry there seems to be an issue with capitalisation in our ban reports (Blondie_17 is apparently not banned, but blondie_17 is).

But anyway, Blondie_17 first joined March 3rd, and on May 11th was banned for stealing having seemingly emptied the entire chest.

Her full name is (Blondie_17) and she is still banned. And the thing about her stealing stuff from a chest must be an error because she said she didn't spend anytime on the server and she also said she didn't take anything. I know her quite well and I know she wouldn't steal anything. Could you please make sure she is fully unbanned.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, LadyBountiful was mis-informed by our banning system that Blondie_17 was not banned when she in fact had been for stealing. She remains banned, as she has stolen. Her ban was not in error as she was banned automatically for stealing by one plugin, and the block logs from a separate plugin confirm her actions. Blondie_17 took 24 stacks of items from this chest. She may not be giving you the whole truth (though it is true, she did not spend long on the server prior to being banned.)

You surly aren't being very flexible with the whole situation, I know her very well and she would be a great member if the community if given the chance. Now heres my example of how lame and untruthful plugins can be: Say your out in some plains and you find a random chest that's not marked and has been there for like a year and the player does not yet know the rules of the server, do you thinks its fair for the player to then be banned???

Your example holds no relevance to your sister's case, and is not an example of a plugin being 'untruthful'. It is a rule that players may not take from any chests they have not placed themselves, unless it is clearly marked that they may (or have otherwise been given permission to take the items). There are some minor offenses which we would be willing to revoke a ban, depending on the banned players' appeal.

I think you should ask your sister to make an account and appeal the ban herself, as that is our usual policy.
