I heard a lot of people have problems with portals. Sometimes it is quite frustrating to turn up in an unwanted portal in an unwanted place. And now the network of Toonballoon is being expanded and perfected, it is even more frustrating if something doesn't work. Understanding the ''Science'' of nether portals can help you a lot. Below I quickly drew some pictures. I hope this will help you solving portal problems. I might make a better picture later.
Btw. In the pictures below I'm talking about ''neigbhbours portal'' but this could be one of your own portals closer by too.
If you want to have an example in what way you can use nether portals to travel fast to different places in your base, come to Laus and have a look there. (you can also use portals as elevator)
