Zedwork Resource Pack!

Hello, Fancy Squid here (AKA Bartman51)

I was talking to Zed about having a Server Resource pack that you could automagically download when you log on the server. He told me to post it on the forums to see if it sparked any interest

The resource pack wouldn't be a whole new set of blocks, it would be a copy of vanilla.

But we could change some of the blocks that wouldn't impact the entire game that much.
Such as changing the Paintings to show the history of Zed, or maybe change an unused block like Sponge (things that wouldn't bother the majority of people)

If people didn't want to use the texture pack they wouldn't have too!

As for who would design the pack, I would definetly be active in this project if it ever happened, but maybe we could have another Forum Post for other artists to submit to the pack!

I LOVE this idea it would be awsome to have a resource pack and one that auto downloads would be great as well.
I am fully with this idea and would offer any help needed

a server-wide resource pack sounds like a rather useful thing. it's not uncommon for players to give me directions inside buildings like "turn left at the painting of a duck" and because my resource pack has a different image for that painting, i'll get all lost.
some players will still choose to use other packs for whatever reason, but you can count me in on this project.

if you need people to help do the art for new paintings or whatever, let me know. i'd love to help.

Honestly im not a big fan of the auto downloading ones...

Whether or not it is auto-downloading, it'd still be nice to have an official texture pack we can share.
