Banned for thieving whilst I was allowed

I've been banned when I entered a chest from a friend of mine and took some potatoes because I was starving. My friend allowed me to do just that.

he literaly 'stole' from my house whilst having my permission, which actually none of you could have known. sorry for not telling anyone but he wasnt doing anything illegal, so if you couldunban him that would be awesome.
