DannyC96 & Memery785

Postby ProducerDanny » Sat Jan 10, 2015 10:00 pm

DannyC96 & Memery785

We are running for joint mayors of the Forest Hills Warp.
The idea of this is so the running of the warp is more efficient as it means there is more chance of an active mayor.

Since before the warp opened, Memery and I have helped set up the warp. Memery led the small team of individuals to set up the first builds at the warp. Memery also worked with zedwick to set up the Forest Hub Scavenger Hunt and "Waddles Watch", the fun gimmick where you have to find the invincible pig called Waddles, who wanders around somewhere near the warp. The roads you see now were planned, dugout and paved by me. If you have visited the Nether Hub, the whole hub was designed and built by Memery and I. We have put a lot of time and effort into this server and have now set up our latest project just outside the warp, where we will spend most of our time at, like we did at Anzard and White Walker Keep before that. This means we will be very close to deal with any issues and also visit the warp regularly as it is where we can get goods and socialise with players. We both take a lot of pride in the warp, and feel we are the right people to move the warp forward, keeping it neat and pretty, whilst also allowing New Players to be able to build there freely and easily, which is the aim of the white warps. If you are a regular visitor to the warp, you will see how present we are and how we help all the players that build there.

Our Promises:

- Every player who wants to build at the warp can, and without boundaries.

- Half-finished builds or plots reserved by inactive players to be freed up
(Note: Builds seemingly completed but by inactive players do not count for this, they stay and are not taken down. Inactivity is judged by us, and we will not give up plots without considerable warning using signs on the build.)

- Everyone who wants a Nether Tunnel who lives outside the warp, can have one, and we will help to construct the tunnel, and give the player free will as to any of the sub hubs they choose.

- We will set up links to community areas in the main section of the warp hub to benefit the warp, like a Horse-friendly tunnel to the main spawn and a mini-games area (if you have seen white walker keep, you will know we know how to make good mini games).

- We will also do our very best to supply resources to new players at the warp for free, and help set up a build for them.

- We will stick around the warp for as long as we are mayors, and will help to make the warp a good place to visit, for both new players and long-term players.

- We will also attempt to set up and possibly stage a "Warp Olympics", where players from different warps compete in different games, like spleef, to win the Warp Olympics!

- Also we will set up a banner to give the warp identity, and will give the warp some real identity, rather than just builds by everyone collectively. This means we will build some small structures to bind the warp together, creating a community amongst the players.

We hope we have your vote for Mayors of Forest Hills Warp.

Experience: (Not advertising or anything) I have played on another server which was purely hardcore economy and contained around 500 users. There were ranks that went from Resident all the way to President, then Tycoon, and then Eco-Leader. I achieved the highest rank and controlled around 4 towns each 200x200 in area. I know how to deal with unruly users, griefers, and wanna-be mayors. I also know how to setup a great town that is newbie-friendly but also attracts experienced users with a great deal of resources. I am quite active on the zedwork lvs server and I would love to have the opportunity to be an elected mayor of the hills town. I'd name the town "Wolf Thorne" (If I am allowed to name it by myself.)

Lastly, I'd be happy to have 2-3 mayors of the hills town with me. (a council/mini government I guess).

POSTSCRIPT: I'd like to be called the "Alpha Wolf" of the town. (if that's allowed)

Thanks,
Zecrux

Vote: Memery785 and DannyC96

I have seen the work that Memery and Danny have put in to this warp, and I believe they will be good mayors for the Forest Hills warp! :D
