Don't quite understand why I'm banned...

Basically, I only came on this server to build with my brother (CurryOnToast). After traversing thousands of blocks to arrive at his base so that we could build together (since new users can't use the zedling only teleports, nor the nether or end). It took me hours to get there, and all the time that I've spent on this server has been travelling this distance. Anyway, after a couple of days of building with him, I placed an anvil I made onto a furnace and I was immediately banned for griefing...

How is it even possible that I could be griefing when I'm thousands of blocks away from other people (we made sure to build very far away to avoid people stealing from us or ruining our buildings.) I'm not sure whether this is a glitch with the insta-ban plugin, or I've genuinely been banned for griefing, when I definitely haven't touched anybody's things other than my own and my brother's (whom I have permission from.)

Can I please be told the reason behind my banning, and any evidence you have against me, as I think this is a huge misunderstanding...

Unfortunately, your statistics show you have never placed nor crafted an anvil, only mined one.

I'm building with my brother...

which means we share items...

which means I removed his anvil and went to place it somewhere else as it was in the way of something...

And obviously it doesn't show that I've placed an anvil, since when I went to place my brothers I was instantly banned.

I don't understand. There's a market place on the forum, right? So users can purchase items without having the need to craft them, am I right? Then why does it even matter if you've never crafted an item? It doesn't necessarily mean that if you place something you didn't make then it's considered griefing.

oops, guess in my haste to make this thread I made an error. I broke my brother's anvil and then went to replace it. I didn't craft it myself. Sorry about that!

I can only respond to your own statements, where you have stated you "made", or crafted, an anvil and placed it. Coming back later to say you obviously did not make the anvil with the kind of attitude you are displaying does not do well to encourage us to take your appeal seriously.

That being said, I do believe your ban was incorrect. The ban was automatic based on your previous actions, it cannot account for new players playing with other established players so can make mistakes, though I try to minimise that risk.

Sorry for the misunderstaning there, you have been unbanned. Please be careful in breaking high-value blocks you did not place until you reach Zedling, placing is fine and did not cause your ban.

Apologies for my sour attitude. I was just a bit upset after getting banned haha.
