Ban Appeal

I was wrongly accused of stealing. I am a respected individual of many players. I found a chest in spawn reading "Please don't steal from meh" so I decided to donate some items as I have done before. I understand I shouldn't have opened the chest in the first place, and I promise not to do it again. Please relieve me from my ban.

Considering the items from that chest are currently still in your inventory, it would seem you did in fact steal.

Figured that would come up. I tried to shift click a few of my diamonds into the chest, and the two stacks didn't stack together. I was confused, so I clicked the diamonds that where already in the chest. I guess I put those in my inventory on accident instead of the ones I had already put in, and they followed me to the jail.

Well it doesn't seem like my appeal is getting much attention. I love this server. It's the best experience I've ever had in mine craft. I know it's hard to believe random strangers, trust me. But I promise you I didn't steal. It certainly looks like I stole, I'll admit that. But having booby-trapped diamonds in a chest is a little extreme just to catch a "thief." I'm not being distrespectful by any means, and do forgive me if I come off that way. I'll say again- I like to give back to the community, so I shift-clicked some diamonds into the chest. I realized they didn't stack, so I grabbed the fake diamonds out of curiosity. Come on, who woul t? Then I was sent to jail with the "stolen" items. Please allow me back to the server. I'll never try to give back to the community again.

Welcome back! Best to just stay out of other people's chests without permission in future, even if just for curiosity or generosity.
