The Melon Cathedral has been a long-standing LVS staple, originally being built in the first year of Zedwork. It is sure to have left an impression on every player of LVS; not only is it one of the largest buildings in Spawn, it is also constructed almost entirely of Melon Blocks.<br />

Given its quirky material and prime location, it has faced an untoward amount of adversity from would-be griefers. The Cathedral had many repair and rebuild it over the years, until one fateful day the stars aligned and its hallowed hall came under the protection of BOB.<br />
BOB is a vengeful deity, holding the integrity of the Cathedral as sacrosanct. Following a pact with Zedwick, he has been granted unilateral powers of defence over his domain. For many a year, malcontents wishing to disturb its citrusy stones have felt the almighty wrath of BOB. So few return from what BOB inflicts upon them - those that do show a newfound, if hard-learned respect for the build.<br />
