The Melon Cathedral has been a long-standing LVS staple, originally being built in the first year of Zedwork. It is sure to have left an impression on every player of LVS; not only is it one of the largest buildings in Spawn, it is also constructed almost entirely of Melon Blocks.

Given its quirky material and prime location, it has faced an untoward amount of adversity from would-be griefers. The Cathedral had many repair and rebuild it over the years, until one fateful day the stars aligned and its hallowed hall came under the protection of BOB.
BOB is a vengeful deity, holding the integrity of the Cathedral as sacrosanct. Following a pact with Zedwick, he has been granted unilateral powers of defence over his domain. For many a year, malcontents wishing to disturb its citrusy stones have felt the almighty wrath of BOB. So few return from what BOB inflicts upon them - those that do show a newfound, if hard-learned respect for the build.
