Mare is LVS's underwater gem, the community is rapidly growing and has a focus on community projects. We welcome any and all who would like to help our community grow and prosper.

Lore

The great city of Mare, was founded solely on the story of two lovers. The pirate captain Tacticalcreeper set her charges out one long day ago, in search of treasure, but what she found was far greater indeed. In the shadow of a hulking desert pyramid was a lonely beach. Upon it Tac saw the most beautiful girl covered in rags and dust. After beaching the boat, the captain approached the beautiful girl. She was nervous and untrusting, so in effort to calm her Tac held out an elegant blue orchid. The girl took it and her voice chimed as she explained she was a slave, building the looming mountain of sandstone behind her. Tac had become angered at her mistreatment and stole her away aboard her ship. The beautiful girl’s name was Huntresslove and while traversing the world they grew happy together. One day the ship captain proposed a marriage to Hunt. She quickly agreed and they exchanged rings. The ceremony was quaint aboard the ship. The audience was consisted of creepers and crewmates, but neither of them could say their vows. Tac’s uncle, who was cross at this situation, charged at the lovers and exploded, sending Hunt flying into the ocean. Before Tac could save her, she herself was thrown into the brig. She swore an oath to destroy every creeper that crossed her path from that day on. Hunt had awoken in a swamp cradled by the blue orchids that grew there. Reminded of her love, Hunt began to build a great ocean temple. One so large that any passing ship could see. Through the tiny porthole Tac saw it. Saw it and love had replaced rage and despair. She fought over the ship and when she regained control charged full speed to meet her love. They had a huge ceremony and were finally deemed married and ready to rule the growing city of Mare, together and always.

How to get to Mare

From Spawn, go to the Extreme Hills portal. Then, go to the Extreme Hills nether portal, take the yellow path, go to the sign that says "Huntresslove" and take the rail to the Mare nether portal.

How to become a Citizen of Mare

You must buy a plot and build in it.

Rules

1. All farms may only be used by members of Mare.
2. Materials in the Mare Storage may only be used for the betterment of Mare.
3. Hallways cannot be altered.
4. Build within the borders of your dome.
5. Domes must be properly lit.
6. All minecarts on in the Mare public track are not to be destroyed.
7. Mare Villagers must be reset and left over emeralds put in a chest.
