Mushroom Alliance

The Mushroom Alliance is one of three main factions in Zz Lore. Though they are widely thought to have died out, it is rumored that they are merely sleeping.
Founding and History
Before the Mushroom Alliance was even an idea, the Melon and Pumpkin factions had already been poking each other for so long that the initial cause of the conflict had largely been forgotten. In the chaos, the Lala Monopoly had risen and destroyed all hopes of economic competition with benevolent oppressiveness.
Although this was actually quite nice, there were a few players who were not satisfied to let such a force go unchallenged. And so they built a market and a post office and made a lot of political-sounding noise. But that wasn't enough for them. These players took to the seas in search of a place to build a headquarters from which to launch even more coordinated plans. For a while, they found nothing suitable and decided to drain a section of the sea to build their base in.
As this project was nearing completion, it became apparent that the location of the walls had been miscalculated and so, despite having put so much effort into clearing the water, everyone ragequit and went back to searching. Soon thereafter, they came upon a mushroom island which they claimed and named Brightside. It was during construction of the new headquarters that an update caused the shop plugin to stop working, and so their rival fell in a heap of frustrating technical difficulties.
Hope still remained for their goal of a free market, however. And so they continued to plan and organize under their newly-adopted name: Mushroom Alliance.
At least until their members started to go inactive, that is. For now it would seem that Brightside has become a ghost town, with Treiskaideka as the last survivor of the faction. It is rumored that Lateoclock still visits from time to time, but sightings are so infrequent that it's hard to tell if it's just the light.

Builds and Projects
- Brightside Island: The city located on this mushroom island is the Mushroom Alliance's headquarters, and the namesake of the faction.
- Market: Now-abandoned marketplace designed to combat the Lala Monopoly.
- Post Office: Mail region is home to a beautiful post office where players were once able to send and receive items to each other even while offline.
- Central: Everyone is still sad about this hole in the sea.
How to Join
To join the Mushroom Alliance, a player must agree to uphold the ideals of free economic trade and peace among players. Players who align with the Melon and Pumpkin factions are welcome to join, but only if they will renounce their hatred for the opposing faction. If a player wishes to join, they should ask one of the Alliance members for a copy of the Mushroom Flag and fly it at their base and other builds. If the player's loyalty and actions move the Alliance founders, the player may be awarded with an invitation to move to Brightside and be given a custom Mushroom skin.
