Request Notice Reminder - HOMINIX

The meeting began with a bold statement from HOMINIX. He wanted to stress before the meeting started he would keep everything short and sweet. Let us see how long that lasts. HOMINIX then opened up his first topic “Request Notice is a thing and people should use it more”. Request Notice is a command that allows players to “request” a join notice that can be seen by all players on the server. The notice is then reviewed by the Zriends, who will either accept or deny the join notice request. If you have any questions about what is appropriate to request, be sure to ask a Zriend, they are super helpful and most of them are also, really handsome. Pulsator wanted to know what would happen if a join notices is rejected. I reassured Pulsator by saying that Zriends will let players know why their message have been denied and that seem to go down well. On to topic Number 2!

Blutopia Rule Change – HOMINIX

HOMINIX then made everyone to be made aware of a slight rule change when building in Blutopia. Because server towns are required to let players know about any rule changes in the town, HOMI thought the meeting was a good place to start. The rule now states: “If builds with incomplete exteriors are left un-modified for over 2 months, Zriends will now be able to remove OR alter existing builds.” The change to the rule is highlighted in BOLD. This means Zriends can either: complete abandoned builds or just remove them completely. Materials are kept safe for players to collect. HOMINIX then tied in his first topic with his second topic in such a seamless way by adding the new Blutopia rules change to the join notices for everyone to ignore! Hurray!

I'll See You In Court - PulsatorII

Pulsator wanted to start a court on LVS to sue people. If you have had an accident that was not your fault? Feel free to sue somebody! Pulsator decided Zedwork LVS needed more, placing blame. I personally think it is a great idea and I am excited to sue some people for random stuff, others where not so keen on the idea.

Each city will create its own laws and rules for suing
Zed and Lady B deal with cases of griefing outside of the server already
Just too much variation on a case by case basis
If suing new players for griefing, they have nothing to pay with and would just quit.

Pulsator then began to plead with Zed to take players to court rather than auto banning them, with his ability to swing his mighty ban hammer undertreat, Zedwick shut down Pulse’s operation. Pulse tried to continue by suggesting a complete over hall of zed’s anti grief system, but nothing else came of the discussion. I would like to finish this topic by reminding Pulse to not be disheartened, while visiting an establishment recently, I nearly drowned in an unsafe nether portal and they player responsible will be receiving a letter from my lawyers soon. Someone shall be sued!

Ender Ender Griefing - Spectatre

THIS WAS THE BEST TOPIC EVERRR! Spec just said: “Can we change the glass to something more durable? Glass breaks in one punch and sometimes people do not even notice they broke it. That is my whole topic.” I love it, short, to the point, I love you Spec, never leave, your short topics keep me sane. Pulse suggested it be changed to End Brick, HOMI suggested obsidian, Just to be extra careful.

Temporary Hub tunnel Edit Permissions- Marco

Marco asked the Zedwick if it was possible to make a new command to give temporary hub permissions to players to allow them to edit their work without disturbing the Zriends (It’s not like we are ever busy we are just super lazy, especially Sneaky) Zed said he’d “look into it”… DING DING DING!!! If you had your money on ‘Topic 5’ then you win our grand prizeeee – Nothing, Hurray! I’m keeping the money.

Just a reminder that UHC is once again coming to Zedwork. This Saturday 15th at 4pm BST. Be sure to come along and attempt to beat Sneaky!! This was the whole topic.

Zedwork Build Off – Lady Bountiful

Lady B then went on to announce another freaking event on the same weekend! This Sunday 16th at 4pm BST (Easter Sunday) A fantastic festive easter SPEGGTACULAR! (Yes, you just read that) The theme is “Easter bunny egg decorating”. Wow two events in one weekend, what a riot this will be. I can’t wait to see what everyone will build! It’s going to be a cracking event. HA!

Next Meeting

New Member, EmpressBethany, will be hosting the next meeting in the Palace on April 22nd at 8pm BST If you were wondering how long this meeting took, It was only about an hour long, I'm pretty sure that is an LVS record so well done everyone!
