I - Wiki Wipeout - Memery

Memery wanted to have everyone make a wiki page about themselves! This page could be where you are from, what you do on the server, or what you like to do for fun. Memery is offering some incentive for your troubles, in the form of shiny blue rocks. We assume they are diamonds, but they may wind up being lapis named diamonds. Regardless, I'll take it...  :

II - Mayoral Activity and Lack Thereof - ThatNurd

Due to recent events regarding ForestHills, mayor activity was called into question. There were about fourty-five questions, and fourty-five thousand answers. Eventually there was some clarity, and we decided the following:
A two-week standard is held to all mayors, based on the !lastseen command. If a mayor comes up as not seen in two weeks, then a cycle begins. The first meeting it is noted, and the second meeting it is checked again. If they still remain inactive, then they are removed, pending a new mayor election. Any co-mayor is removed along with them. We passed three votes on mayors.


VOTE PASSED: If a mayor is checked with !lastseen to not have been active for 2 weeks at the time of a meeting, the meeting afterwards the council checks once more, and if the situation the mayor is declared inactive, and if the situation the mayor is declared inactive, and removed.

VOTE PASSED: Co-Mayors are to be removed with the mayor, regardless of the co-mayor's activity.

VOTE PASSED: An election is triggered when a mayor is removed from an active warp town.


This topic also went into caretakers, and what they do. Spectatre, the current caretaker (caring for Jungle warp and Swamp warp) deals with player issues, and repairs occasional damage. We passed one vote on caretakers.


VOTE PASSED: Prior to a new mayor being elected, a caretaker is assigned to maintain the quality of the warp and answer player queries.


Unanswered questions for next meeting: How many caretakers? How are caretakers appointed? Do we assign an extra caretaker for active towns when it is between mayors?

New Council Member Election

We actually scared off all the visitors from this meeting, so no new members were elected onto the council. ABP is hosting the next meeting in two-weeks time!
