Our newest member Timoteey was on the slate to be hosting, but he had been eaten by rabid eels, probably, so ABP took us to the fish basement. I quietly explained to ABP that I was madly rushing to finish a forum post so could use a bit of good ol' fashioned delaying tactics, and he instead started the meeting at a breakneck pace and wheeled me in as scribe. More fool you, I like a challenge

Mayor Check - ABParadigm

Per regulation 14 of the council, it was noted that the mayor of Hayfever Hills, Sneeze_Attack, had not been seen recently. This was confirmed with a !lastseen activity check, and noted for the record. The check will be performed again next meeting - if there is no change, he will be declared inactive and removed, and the council will proceed to instigate a new mayor election. Dun dun duuuuuuuun

Illegal Substances - ABParadigm

A cryptic message from our host now, delivered from the seedy underbelly of some seedier, regular bellow: "There have been talk of special substances floating about the server, legality questionable. If you see any of these briny deli items, try not to panic, and contact the zpd, if you can remember who they are..."
There was some question on how players would know what an illegal substance was, which ABP answered with a knowing nod and a clandestine 'you'll know...'

Zed was then all boring and did the disclaimer that this is some friendly roleplay and not actually indicative of illegality. or is it?

TinyBuild Tour: Swamp Shack Challenge - Spectatre

Following my spitballing last meeting about wanting to do some tiny build challenges about the place, I announced the first of these as officially open: The Swamp Shack Challenge!
Based in Swamp Warp, you gotta build a shack. It can be no bigger than 10x10x10. The challenge runs for two weeks, after which winners will be announced.

Dungeon Dash-Off - ABP

ABP tried to chuck the microphone to Zed for his normal announcements, but it was handed back to him with a quiet terse murmur, at which point ABP by complete coincidence remembered to remind everyone that the Dungeon Dash Speedrun contest is still going!
DungeonDash, made by our resident Dungeoner, Dax, is a dungeon crawler zestygame, pitting brave crusaders against a hoard of wily beasts, mobs, traps, tricks, intrigue, and one particularly surly rabbit. Up to four players can try to best the dungeon at a time, choosing from six different classes, all with different abilities designed to try and keep you alive enough to win.
ABP and dogzack are financing the prize, a shiny 24 diamond blocks to the individual or team that posts the fastest time! The challenge is running until the 14th. Zed also announced that DungeonDash is currently free to host for all players, so anyone can put their hand in to try and get the speediest time.

currently - February 18th - Free hosting of DungeonDash! Anyone can host a game via !zestygames

February 15th - launch of a brand-new minigame! AdvancementHunters - work in teams to get the most advancements before the timer runs out! Very fun little co-op game Zed's been testing around for the last week or so. It will be hostable by all Zesty+ Subscribers, much like PocketUHC, but with fewer murders, probably.

February 24th - Casual Buildathon - 4pm-9pm, little casual build contest on a creative plots world, theme TBA at the time!

March 1st - March 4th - Free hosting of AdvancementHunters Woo!

March 8th - launch of brand-new minigame! GerroffMahBeard is a wonderfully bizarre game involving zed's emancipated beard, his villager teeth, and knocking everyone into oblivion. What's not to like? This will be hostable by all Zesty subscribers

"Future" - Dungeon Dash will become more dangerous. How Dastardly!
