Topic 1: Halloween Skin Contest - Memery

Much like the past couple years, Mem opened us up with a skin contest! You will be randomly given someone else's name, and you will need to make a version of their skin which a funny twist. Then, you can dress up as them for Halloween! Be as weird as you like... ABP was Moomery last year.

Topic 2: Farm Improvements - Dax23333

Dax let us all know that he added a door to the bone yard, that locks in players because a lot of times the farm is left on, which breaks it. He also announced that the paradise prismarine farm has been updated for 1.14! Sadly, ABP made it quickly obsolete with a bubble based farm - ABP's farm is accessible through the orange border tunnel. Nothing like friendly competition!

Topic 3: Spawn Upkeep - LadyBountiful

LadyB watches spawn and she wanted to let it be known that the spawn farms are meant to be in a certain order - please replant the farm as you see it; don't change the layout.

Topic 4 - Nomination Regulations being changed again - Dax23333 and ABParadigm

This was the one we were pushing off, the whopper from the pre-agenda. The nomination system is not very good, and we were trying to find out a way to make it better. There were tons of ideas thrown around - but we wound up deciding the following would be the best way to go:

Zedling 1 asks Zedling 2 if they want to be nominated to join the council. If so, they are nominated by Zedling 1. Host then confirms Zedling 2 would like to join the council. A vote is held in PM, where all present zedlings can vote. They require 5 votes to be elected onto the council, two being council members.

Note: we are scrapping the idea of seconding a nomination.

Note: We are also allowing multiple members to join the council at once.



This means...

  • Regulation 4 is scrapped.



  • Regulation 5 is amended to: "Potential members need a nomination by any Zedling, and must win the vote of 5 Zedlings, two of which being council members."



  • Regulation 17 is amended to: "Nominations done in public by any Zedling."



  • Regulation 19 is kept.



  • Regulation 20 is kept.



  • Regulation 29 is amended to: "A Zedling nominating a potential nominee must first ask the potential nominee if they would like to join the council. After they are nominated, the host must confirm that the nominee would like to join the council."





This was discussed heavily, but it was decided we should discuss it more on the forums, and vote on this next meeting. This will be noted on the pre-agenda.



Topic 5: Underpayment - SneakySkeleton and ABParadigm

Someone is underpaying at the market again - there was general frustration, and Zed will be more strict about underpayments in the future. The Banvil may return! Keep your helmets on folks.

Casual Buildathon! September 29th, 2019 - running from 4:00 PM BST to 9:00 PM BST. Be there and be casual!


babybop224 was elected onto the council, and agreed to host the next meeting in two week's time! See you there!
