iij hosted us all in a comfy little hall that happened to include a tightrope over lava to get to it. A good strategy to try and get more people using totems, but luckily no-one fell in!
Easter Event - Mellorian
THIS Sunday is Easter, and we have a hide and seek event running on Plotzy. Come along, build a nice Easter themed plot (with larger-size plots available for the eggcation!), and then hide in it!
Prizes up for grabs all around, as well as fun!
There's also a small skin contest for people to flaunt their best Easter costumes. Starts 8pm BST!
Warp Updates - Neytan269
Our newest mayor gave some updates on his work for the new warp - Roads are done, portal building redesigned and the warp in general has had some goodly mobproofing work!
Still some work around the main square, statue island, road to the town hall, some farms, some bridges, all that jazz!
There was much celebration and encouragement for Neyt to keep a'going so our newest players will soon have an all-new warp to build in!
G3T HYP3 - Spectatre
Your favourite gameshow, READY, ZEDDY, GO! returns once again!
Last episode saw the Melons grab their first win and tie the season 2 score - will they start a winning streak or will the pumpkins come back with a vengeance to stick the 'g' back in their name?
The idea of having the next episode be slightly later in the day was floated and met with mild approval (the best kind of approval), and so the next episode was announced as Sunday, April 18th, 8pm BST. Hope to see you all there!
ABP PSA, FYI - ABParadigm
ABP discovered the zookie stand was entirely empty (possibly the work of some nefarious soul) - ABP wanted to throw it out there that anyone is welcome to donate goods to help our newer players!
That said, there are some caveats on the kind of thing that should and should not be put in dispensers:
-Please don't donate blocks, lava, fire res, flint & steel - things that make it super-easy for any griefers to do a mischief
-Please do't donate 'OP' items like Eff5, Mending, Cursed Items, Elytra, god tools/armour. The intention of the zookie stand is to help players in their first few nights, not to deck them out for life
If you have iron armour/tools going spare? Food? Items you wish you had just starting out in the server? Please feel free to donate! You can access the 'storage chests' of the zookie stand by jumping around the glass panes at the back (Say hello to Granite while you're there!)
If you want to donate but are unsure about what would be good, feel free to ask in chat =D
Beginner Hotel - DarthDuck
The exterior of the New Beginner Hotel is up and glorious! Darth thanked all the wonderful people for coming out to put it together; he's planning on arranging another date to get everyone together to finish up the interior. There are also plans to add a cactus farm area and cocoa bean farm.

Then an unnamed person came into the meeting and brought a raid with them, on account of some villagers near the meeting hall. Our host and several zriends went out to deal with the roused rabble, so Zed took the helm of the meeting
Redstone Club 3: Explosions? Possibly! - Dax23333
The Redstone Club is a new group run by Dax2333 where circtuitheads can come together to solve problems through Redstone!
In the second Redstone Club, the members made a doomsday device (with cobble, of course). Can they top that?

LadyB promises it will be slightly more lit by then, as apparently it's a little lethal.

Zednouncements
After mentioning a very exciting event coming up in the month, LadyBountiful mentioned it was her birthday! Everyone then speculated on when the birthday was, though Lady demurred on specifics. Correctly speculating that she was trying to coax a month-long celebration, Zed declared daily dances were called for. Several council members took the initiative and started a mini-rave, with other members throwing food and other items. Happy future birthday LadyB!
The upcoming event is Race for the Wool - Two teams race through a pre-built linear map to gather the different colours of wool and bring them back to their team's monument. The first team to complete their monument with all the wool wins! It will be taking place at April 18th, 4pm BST! Warning: The map is long and the expected runtime is three hours! It's apparently doable in 1-2; I'm sure our capacity for speedrunning will prove him wrong!
Casual Buildathon - Sunday April 25th 4pm - 9pm BST
Also - end and nether resets are coming! "If you've been holding off from raiding the end, feel free to empty it!"
(Worry not: Every time the server reboots, a slelection of nether/end chunks will be deleted to allow them to regen. Oly those beyond 3k in the end, and 4k in the nether are eligible for reset, and only if they've not been visited in the last 30 days!)
