Payne hosted us in an idyllic piece of Srauter Swamp; council was knee-deep in its balmy open-air waters, with a nice glass roof and a stalwart cat guardian protecting us from the sky bats. While some concerns were raised that creepers may creep up on us, Dax mused that it would probably be fine. THe best sort of fine! =D ANd we began!

This testimonial brought to you by the unofficial tourism board of Srauter: "I enjoy how wet my lower half is" - Zedwick

Topics

Wielding two topics, Darthduck ominously promised to start with the first one :O

Warden RaidingZZ - DarthDuck

1.19 is coming around the corner for Zedwork at large; once the update lands, one of Darthduck's sources advise that ZZ are going to have a raid party, in an attempt to kill the elusive new under-mob: THE WARDEN
Plan is for it to be the Sunday following the update landing, but we wait with bated breath to hear from official sources.
Sounds like equal risk of terror and fun; perhaps we should gatecrash and join the raid? =D Date TBC; we continue to thank Darth for his abilities in inter-council subterfuge, and hope we are bribing him sufficiently to be more on our side ;D

In a dramatic twist Payne disappeared in a puff of IRL smoke; luckily Dax (dashingly) answered the call to take up the hosting mantle so Spec didn't have to multitask.

These Old Walls: The Walls Strike Back!- Darthduck

Darth is aiming for some time in July to have another rally at the walls of the beginner farm - several players did some lovely designs last time, but there is still space left to create something lovely.
There is still a great deal of decorative blocks available at the farm which were very generously donated by Forseth - the limit is only your imagination! Also the colours available in the standard game. Also the rules of the game. But apart from that and several other things, the sky's the limit. And by the sky I, of course, mean the height of the wall.
Once the initial day is done Darth will keep the 'event' open for a couple of weeks so people can take their time decorating as much as they like. Who knows; perhaps if all goes well there will be another sequel - revenge of the walls? :o
Stay tuned for more updates as the day draws closer!

1.19 Zestytime

1.19 is live in Zestyland! Zed has made an above-ground shelter and coastal farm. Dax/Spec have begun the start of a town in an immense cavern underneath us all, having been gifted a grass block by a friendly Enderman. Also, Payne/Dax located a small section of a creepy new biome! They were struck with blindness and decided discretion was the better part of valour, but Payne also disabled whatever mystery was causing this new beast to be summoned before they fled, so the immediate undercity is safe...for now =O
Zestyland is available from the lobby for all Zesty subscribers, so come on down and take a look!

Darth then needed to flee to valiantly fight against an incursion of wasps into his home D: If only Payne's guard-cat could have gone through the screen!

Zednouncements

1.19 is close, probably! Still some datapacks need reworking and other issues ironed out, but it should be soon.jpg!
Zed isn't quite ready to commit to a date, but he is hopeful it could be early this week. If you just can't wait, remember that last topic you literally just read! Of course you were enraptured by the lyrical wit of our humble scribe, so I'll repeat - Zestyland is already on 1.19 and available to Zesty subs! It's available through the lobb or via mc.zedwork.co.u:22566
Zed's little shack is signposted, he wishes that it be considered public and invites that it be used or expanded as you like.
ZZ will ikely take longer and is not expected to update this week. ehehehe ;D (jk <3)

Other behind the scenes news! Zed has discovered an Allay issue during his testing - with MobGriefing disabled, they dont pick up items. They will float along to dropped item and stare at them obnoxiously, so you can still follow them to the loot, but they won't pick it up as yet. This is similar to the villagers not picking up items, so Zed is tying to fix this with a datapack! He hopes to have it in place before the update, but given the rarity of Allays he won't hold up the serve update for it. Good luck on hitting things with spanners, Zed!

Nominations/Next Meeting

Forseth agreed to host next session! See you in two weeks =D
