The monsters in Dungeon Dash inhabit the various crypts and caves deep underground in vast numbers, and are extremely hostile to adventurers raiding the forgotten structure. Not only vanilla monsters inhabit this place, with a variety of new creatures also living inside.

Monster List

The following creatures can be found in Dungeon Dash. They are sorted into two groups, first Dungeon Dash unique enemies and secondly Vanilla monsters.

Dungeon Dash Enemies

Cultists

The Cult of Undeath inhabit the 2nd floor of the dungeon, along with some deeper regions. The Cultists were once human before thier willing conversion to undeath. These enemies attack in hordes, with their healers providing support making the group far tougher. Adventurers will need to focus damage to take down individual members before the Cult Healers undo their work, and ideally target the healers early on.

Cult Leader

Wearing jet black armor these Cultists lead the hoards into battle, and wield extremely sharp hoes. They hit harder and are tougher to kill than ordinary cultists.

Cultist

The lowest ranking Cultists make up the bulk of the Cult of Undeath and will swarm any adventurers they come across.

Cult Healer

These Cultists wear heart armour, giving them more health than ordinary cultists. They wield a blaze rod, and will cast a healing spell on nearby cultists every few seconds providing strong support to the hoard.

Cult Skeleton

Rare cultist that has lost all the flesh on its bones. It is unknown if these are willing converts like the rest of the cultists, or if they were skeletons like the others found in the dungeon. They wield bows like most skeletons.

Ghosts

Creatures resembling floating heads. They will charge adventurers to ram them and deal damage, but if hit will explode into a cloud of effects varying on the type of ghost. If hit hard enough they will die without emitting their effects. Exploding ghosts may damage (or heal!) other monsters in the vacinity.

Banshee

White and red ghosts with skin stretched thin over a bloody skull. When killed they emit an intensely painful and nauseating cloud. Extremely dangerous, these are found only in the deepest reaches of the dungeon.

Ectoplasm

Ghosts with slimy green skulls that explode into a cloud of nausea inducing poison on death. Found everywhere.

Ghoul

This variant detonates on death with an explosion. It does not emit any potion effects. These are found in the cave areas deep in the dungeon.

Wraith

A ghast like creature which emits a slowing cloud on death. Far less dangerous than other variants of ghost, they are found mainly in the upper levels of the dungeon.

Bosses

At the end of the dungeon in the deepest depths adventurers must face a final challange before thier run will be complete. These enemies are the strongest Dungeon Dash has to offer and will put to the skills of adventurers who dare to face them to the test.

Ripper

A small but extremely strong rabbit with a taste for blood and terrible flatulence, Ripper can burrow at extremely high speeds. His farts are explosive and deal massive damage to anyone caught underneath him. Ripper prefers to attack from underground by burrowing under his enemies, but can be shocked to the surface with loud noises which will trigger the second phase of the battle. In the second phase Ripper attacks by lunging at adventurers and will occasionally leap into the air to land with a giant explosion, or burrow to charge underground. He has little health compared to other bosses at 100 hearts but is highly evasive. As such, damage over time such as fire or AoE effects are extremely effective.

Apophis

Apophis is a large worm-like creature also known as the Eater of Light. Apophis attacks using poison in a number of his attacks, and can also damage adventurers by ramming them. Defence wise Apophis is a health tank, while slow and easy to hit he has extremely high health.

The Archivist

As an unlockable boss The Archivist does not appear at the end of the dungeon under normal circumstances. The Archivist is a powerful undead magic weilder who has managed to discard most of his decaying body in favor of a form sustained purely by magic. Initially The Archivist levitates a ring of shields around to deflect arrows as he attacks with his powerful weapons and magic. Throughout the fight he weilds both a heavy battleaxe and a powerful bow shooting flaming arrows, and will swap between using one or the other. The Archivists magic abilities include summoning explosions, Ghosts (Ectoplasms, Wraiths, Banshees and Ghouls) and teleporting to far away adventurers.

Sinister Sisters

The Sinister Sisters make the second unlockable encounter and will not appear at the end of the dungeon under normal circumstances. The Sinister Sisters are a trio of undead witches weilding powerful magic. Each has a unique moveset and independent phast changes.

Vanilla Monsters

Most vanilla monsters are used in dungeon dash, with the exception of some things like Withers and Elder Guardians.

Illagers

The grey skinned and angry villager creatures inhabit some isolated regions of the dungeon and are some of the most challanging enemies in the game outside of boss fights. Even the elusive Illusioner can be found in the dungeon.

Vindicator

Axe weilding illagers that move fast and hit hard. Have been known to lie in wait to ambush adventurers.

Evoker

Illager summoners who attack with fangs and Vexes. Evokers in the dungeon are faster and more durable than those found in thier mansions on the surface so adventurers should be on thier guard. ====Vex==== A small ghost-like creature that phases through walls and attacks with its sword. Summoned by Evokers. Vexes in the dungeon have ample oppertunity to attack through tight corridor walls, but glow red giving away thier location.

Illusioner

Blue cloaked illagers who weild a bow and illusion magic. They are capable of distorting thier appearance to adventurers and inflicting blindness.

Spiders

Spiders and cave spiders can be found in large numbers in the dungeon, with some rooms or connected caves being nests of many spiders.

Spider

A large spider that jumps at adventurers to attack. Due to thier size they cannot fit through narrow doors.

Cave Spider

A smaller spider that poisons adventurers with its jumping attack. Due to thier small size they can fit through narrow doors but are harder to hit. They do however have less health than thier larger cousins.
